The difference between the expansion of the two is due to the operating temperature difference between the shaft and the housing and the thermal expansion coefficient of the material. The axial misalignment of the inner and outer rings of the bearing caused by the difference. Due to the large thermal expansion force of the metal material, it is irresistible. If the axial preload force of the spherical roller bearing is superimposed on the axial force generated by the thermal expansion of the shaft, the bearing will inevitably be damaged by the huge axial force. The superimposed axial forces are not tolerated even by thrust bearings.


In order to avoid damage to the spherical roller bearing subjected to huge axial force, the axial clearance required for thermal expansion of the shaft must be left between the end cap of the bearing end and the end face of the outer ring of the bearing when the bearing is installed, while ensuring swimming The outer diameter of the end bearing is matched with the small hole of the seat hole to ensure the axial displacement (axial creep) of the swimming end bearing when the shaft is thermally expanded. When a spherical roller bearing with a fixed end at both ends of the shaft is installed, an axial gap should be left between the bearing end cover at both ends of the shaft and the end face of the bearing outer ring. The outer diameter of both ends of the bearing and the seat hole should be small clearance fit. .
